Congratulations to Ryan Ewald ’26, recipient of the 2025 Kearney Scholarship. Ryan is from Union, Mo and has a cumulative 3.942 GPA (yes, that’s correct) in Mechanical Engineering and has been active in Intramural sports including Football, Basketball, 

Volleyball, Kickball, Dodgeball, Pickleball, Badminton, Floor Hockey, Ultimate Frisbee, and Softball. Ryan anticipates graduating in May 2026 and has been active in the leadership at the chapter house having served the BMS, athletics, and social committee chairs as well as chapter VP of Risk Management. He is currently the chapter Scholarship executive.

The Mo Gamma Michael C. Kearney Intramural Athlete of the Year Scholarship is awarded in January of each year to a SigEp who contributes to the success of the Chapter’s intramural performance, conducts himself with good sportsmanship, is enrolled for the spring semester, demonstrates academic proficiency, and impacts the fraternal spirit of the chapter.
